This policy explains what personal data Mom's Feast collects, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number and password (stored hashed).
- Addresses and location: delivery addresses you save, and your location if you choose to share it, to find chefs and price delivery.
- Orders: what you order, from whom, and when; reviews you write; messages with chefs in the app.
- Payments: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
- Chefs: verification documents (ID, selfie, address proof, kitchen photos) and payout details.
How we use it
- To run your account and deliver orders, including sharing your name, address and order with the chef who cooks it.
- To keep the platform safe: verifying chefs, preventing fraud and handling complaints.
- To send order updates and, if you agree, occasional offers.
Who we share it with
The chef for each order; payment, hosting and mapping providers that work for us; and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to marketing, by contacting us. Some rights depend on where you live (for example under UK GDPR).
Cookies and storage
The website stores your login and basket in your browser so they survive a refresh. We do not use advertising cookies.
